Testimonials
Our initial consultation with Stacey was great, she listened to our ideas and involved my daughter in the plan of attack. I was hesitant to consult a interior designer as we had a tight budget, Stacey narrowed our ideas down and made suggestions we hadn’t even considered. In the end we saved money and Stacey came up with some great solutions within our budget. The result came out even better than we had ever hoped. Thank you Stacey!

Stacey worked with us on our 2 sons rooms. Her enthusiasm was infectious helped my husband and I draw on our creative side. She was user friendly to work with, listening to what we wanted, as opposed to telling us what we wanted, which is what I was afraid a designer was going to do. She made some funkt and practical suggestions and helped to incorporate our ideas with the design of the rooms. I really liked the way she included our sons in the decision making process and they love the outcome. Our ideas were refined and she kept to our budget, finding great bargains. We have found the furniture she has at REM Design, to be of great quality and highly functional which is what we were really looking for in the boy's rooms. Both boys use their rooms all the time not just for sleep but, homework, computer/playstationing etc. Both room were small but she was able to fit them out so that each room could have a spare sleeping area when needed. We received all sorts of great deals through working with her as our interior designer, (saving on paint was a big one we didn't expect) and we feel it was well worth the money that we set aside for this project.

Hi Stacey,
Well have finally got around to getting you a photograph of our kids in their Alex bunk.
We are rapt with these bunks as we had been searching for a while to find a suitable bunk set for our new little house, but most other options were pretty lightweight and our kids would have outgrown them within a few years. The Alex bunk is solid, will not date and with its ability to convert to 2 separate beds should last a lifetime, making them extremely good value for money.
The kids love them, and are really proud of their beds now we have stuck the wall art stickers up as well.
Regards

A gadget for the girl geek who has everything….

0OK – now I have to say this gadget appeals to me on more than just a geeky level. As well as The Man of The House (TMoTH), The Offspring and a zillion and one gadgets our house is full of pets. Two labradors, four cats, two ducks, hens…..we’re a veritable urban ark. So it goes without saying I like critters as much as I like gadgets.
Like most of us, I also detest the rat’s nest of cables we tend to find surrounding the gadgets that have to be plugged in to the wall. Whether it’s computers, TVs, or stereos – there is nothing worse than that huge snarl, covered in dust bunnies (and who knows what else). The thing is – being a bit of a girl, I loathe those factory looking coil tube things that are usually used to encase the offending cables. Gag – if I wanted my house to look like an industrial park, that’s how I would decorate it (no offense to those of you who do like that look.)
Enter Woofy.
Gabriel Nigro with Woofy
Designed by Gabriel Nigro for normann cophenhagen, Woofy is available in black and white, looks remarkably like Milou (Snowy if you were reading in English) from the TinTin comics (and yes I love comics – admit it, you just rolled your eyes and muttered something about not being surprised) will hide up to three meters of cables AND still look cool.
But wait…there’s more….
It turns out Woofy has his own Myspace page, complete with nightclub music, is something of an A-lister and is somewhat trendy.
Personally I love him for his looks…
Woofy is currently available from Rem Design – THE place to buy cutting edge furniture for kids – for $325.00 Check him out – and let us know if you adopt a Woofy – we’d love to hear if he’s the party animal he’s made out to be.
