These bunk beds are manufactured from a 50mm square pine frame, then clad with 15mm MDF, and are finished with 3 coats of non-toxic paint. They are built strong enough to withstand most things kids can throw at them.
They are available in 2 colours - Princess Pink for the girls, and Cool Grey for the boys.
Whilst we include assembly instructions, assembly is very involved. It usually takes 2 experienced people over 2 hrs to assemble. First time assemblers can expect it to take 6-8hrs!
We would really recommend a suitably experienced assembler or, at the very least, a competent DIY'er.
The bunks consist of 3 towers.
The tall tower has a lookout platform inside near the top. The drawbridge can be lifted by a rope inside. The portcullis door can also be raised and lowered separately on a rope and pulley system. There is also an inbuilt ladder inside this tower which accesses the top bunk and the lookout platform.
The low tower is the bookcase with room to hide or store teddy bears on top and books below. To the right of the bookcase are 4 small arched windows which can be climbed as an alternate entrance to the top bunk.
The main tower holds 2 full sized single mattresses (1.94m x .94m) on wooden slat bases.
The bunks can be partially disassembled to fit through doorways/hallways when moving house etc.
